PepsiCo Athlete of the Week (Sep. 2)

Dalhousie University presents our PepsiCo Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sunday, September 1, 2024.

Sally Steinberg, Soccer

Second-year striker Sally Steinberg is this week’s female PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.

Sally started in the Tigers home opener this weekend, recording three shots and scoring the lone goal for the Tigers in the 1-1 tie with Moncton. She was named the player of the game for her efforts.

A science student, Sally is from Hamilton, Ontario.

Mykeo Parker-Christmas, Soccer

Fourth-year striker Mykeo Parker-Christmas is this week’s male PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.

Down 1-0 to Moncton in their home opener this weekend, the Tigers subbed on Mykeo late in the game and he made an immediate impact. Out hustling the Aigles Bleus defence, Mykeo was able to chip a through ball past the keeper to tie the game and secure a crucial point for the Tigers. He was named player of the game for his efforts.

Hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Mykeo is a management student.
