Dalhousie University presents our PepsiCo Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sunday, March 10, 2024.
Waverley Mulligan, Track & Field
First-year runner Waverley Mulligan is this week’s female PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.
Waverley was the top Tiger at this weekend’s U SPORTS Track and Field Championship. She finished fourth in the 1500m running the second fastest time in school history in the event. Waverley also finished fourth in the 3000m and helped the women’s 4x800m team to a ninth-place finish.
Hailing from Kingston, Ontario, Waverley is a speech language pathology student.

Zach James, Track & Field
Third-year runner Zach James is this week’s male PepsiCo Athlete of the week.
Zach won a silver medal at the U SPORTS Track & Field Championship this past weekend. After qualifying for the final as the top seed, Zach came from behind in the final to win. Running a time of 1:18.30 in the final, he now holds the second fastest time in school history. Zach also anchored the men’s 4x400m relay team to an eighth-place finish.
A science student, Zach hails from Windsor, Nova Scotia.
