Women’s Basketball
The women’s basketball team played the Acadia Axewomen on Friday. Dal’s Player of the Game, Kaitlyn Ferrier, finished off strong with 19 points. The Tigers fell 65-98 to the Axewomen. The teams played again on Saturday. Kaitlyn Ferrier earned back-to-back Player of the Game titles with 24 points. The Tigers still fell short of the Axewomen, losing 76-80.

Men’s Basketball
The men’s basketball team faced the Acadia Axemen in Wolfville on Friday night. Malcolm Christie, the second leading scorer in the AUS, finished with 22 points. Tigers took a close win over the Axemen, 79-75. They battled again on Saturday at the Dalplex. Nginyu Ngala came in strong with 21 points and 7 rebounds. The Tigers took the back-to-back win, 81-75 over the Axemen.

Men’s Hockey
The men’s hockey team played Acadia at the Forum on Friday night. The goalie, Robbie Forbes, finished strong with 55 saves! Joseph Serpa scored his second of the night to solidify a 5-3 win for Dal! On Saturday night, they took a 5-4 loss to the Huskies.
Women’s Hockey
The women’s hockey team played the Huskies at SMU. Dal took a 5-0 shutout loss. On Sunday, the team played the UNB Reds. The Reds were quick to catch up to the Dal lead, defeating the Tigers in a 3-1 loss.

Swimming
The Tigers swim team attended the UNB Invitational this weekend in Saint John. The Tigers won 8/11 events in the first session and all 11 in the second session. On day two of the meet, the Tigers won 9/12 events. Regan Crowell and Noah Mascoll-Gomes led the Tigers to commanding wins throughout the weekend, helping Dal take the men’s and women’s team titles!
