Reagan Crowell, Swimming
Fifth-year swimmer Reagan Crowell is this week’s female PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.
Reagan led her team to an overwhelming victory at the 2023 Jack Scholz Invitational Swim Meet this weekend. She placed first in the 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m freestyle events. In the 800m freestyle, Reagan posted the fastest short course time in U SPORTS so far this season. Reagan was also the lead-off swimmer in Dalhousie’s 4x100m freestyle relay team that finished first.
Hailing from Lakeville, New Brunswick, Reagan is a psychology student.

Ben Thompson, Soccer
First-year striker Ben Thompson is this week’s co-male PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.
Ben earned his eighth start of the season in Saturday’s playoff deciding game at UPEI. He scored the game-winning goal, sending the Tigers to the AUS playoffs this upcoming weekend.
From Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, Ben is a science student.
Logan Sparkes, Swimming
Third-year swimmer Logan Sparkes is this week’s co-male PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.
The captain of the swim team, Logan led the team to a convincing victory at the 2023 Jack Scholz Invitational Swim Meet this weekend. He won the 200m, 400m and 800m freestyle events and the 200m IM event. Logan capped of his weekend by anchoring the Tigers 4x200m medley relay to a first-place finish.
A physics and atmospheric sciences student, Logan is from Agassiz, British Columbia.
