Men’s volleyball player Lucas Condon-Oldreive has been named to the U SPORTS All-Rookie team on Thursday night at the U SPORTS All-Canadian Awards Ceremony at the 2023 U SPORTS Men’s Volleyball Championship, presented by Mikasa in Hamilton, Ontario.

The Halifax, Nova Scotia native played in all 16 of the Tigers regular season matches. The 6’8 middle led the team in blocks with 59, fourth in the RSEQ, 27 of which were solo blocks. An engineering student, he was also fourth in the RSEQ in hitting percentage with .404. He accumulated 87 kills and 136 points for the Tigers in his freshman season.

The Tigers returned to the RSEQ playoffs for the first time since 2018 where they fell to the Sherbrooke Vert et Or 2-0 in their semifinal series.
