After beating UNB last weekend in the AUS semifinal series, the Tigers faced the Acadia Axewomen this weekend in the Subway AUS Women's Volleyball Championship Series. Every meeting between the Tigers and the Axewomen this season has gone to five sets, so it was bound to be an entertaining series.
The Axewomen took the first game in the series 3-2. The Tigers rebounded on Friday to beat the Axewomen 3-2 and force a deciding game three. Following the trend of their previous meetings, game three also went to five sets with the Tigers coming out on top and capturing their 10th straight AUS title.
Lucy Glen-Carter was named the championship MVP and recorded the game, series, and championship winning kill on Saturday night.

The Tigers will now head west for the U SPORTS National Championship hosted by the University of British Columbia March 17-19.
