Volleyball players Julie Moore and Michael Donovan have been recognized for their outstanding play during the 2021-22 season.
Fourth-year outside hitter Julie Moore has been named a second team All-Canadian after leading the Tigers to their ninth-straight AUS conference championship title.
She led the Tigers with 3.47 kills/set, 170 digs and 3.95 digs/set in her 11 regular season matches this year, placing her in the top 10 in the nation in kills/set (9th) and digs/set (8th).
A four-time AUS first team all-star, the Halifax, N.S. native was named the Subway AUS Championship MVP after earning player of the game honours in both matches of the best of three conference championship series.
In her first season with the Tigers, Moore was named to the U SPORTS all-rookie team (2017-18) and was selected as a second team all-Canadian at the end of the 2018-19 season.
First-year outside hitter Michael Donovan led the Tigers in several statistical categories this year. He was first in kills/set with 4.14, points with 4.8 per set accrued 15 aces in 11 matches. He was second in the RSEQ in kills/set and seventh in the country. He was also seventh in the country in points/set.
A native of London, Ontario, Donovan is an engineering student.
