Julie Moore, Volleyball

Fourth-year outside hitter Julie Moore is this week’s Female PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.

Julie led the Tigers to a three-game sweep of the Memorial Sea-Hawks over the weekend in Newfoundland.

She had 14 kills and 13 digs to earn Subway Player of the Game honours in the Tigers 3-0 win Friday night. Julie was atop the stats again the next night, earning 13 kills, 18 digs and three aces leading the Tigers to another straight-sets win over the Sea-Hawks and was once again named Subway Player of the Game.

Julie earned her third Subway Player of Game award of the weekend Sunday afternoon, collecting 19 kills and 13 digs in Dalhousie’s 3-1 win over Memorial.

A commerce student, Julie is from Halifax, N.S.

Keevan Veinot, Basketball

Fourth-year guard Keevan Veinot is this week’s Male PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.

Keevan led the Tigers to two wins over the weekend.

The Subway Player of the Game, Keevan scored 26 points and had five rebounds during the Tigers 100-74 win over the Acadia Axemen Friday night in Wolfville, N.S.

He was hot again on Sunday, netting a game-high 28 points in addition to 11 rebounds, six assists and two steals to lead the Tigers to an 82-67 win over the visiting UNB REDS.

A native of Port Williams, N.S., Keevan is a commerce student.
