Reagan Crowell, Swimming
First-year swimmer Reagan Crowell is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Female Athlete of the Week.
Reagan led the Tigers to their 18th consecutive team conference championship win over the weekend.
She won gold in the 400m and 800m freestyle events and the 400m individual medley. She earned two more wins as part of the Tigers 400m and 800m relay teams and added a silver in the 200m freestyle event. Her weekend medal tally totaled five gold and one silver.
This year’s AUS rookie of the year, she was named both the female rookie and swimmer of the championship meet for her efforts.
A medical sciences student, Reagan is from Lakeville, N.B.

Alec Karlsen, Swimming
Third-year swimmer Alec Karlsen is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Male Athlete of the Week.
Alec led the Tigers to their 22nd consecutive AUS championship win over the weekend.
He earned four gold medals, swimming to victory in the 200m and 400m individual medley events, the 200m butterfly and as a member of the Tigers 800m freestyle relay team. He also added a fourth-place finish in the 200m backstroke.
At the end of the meet, Alec was awarded the male swimmer of the year award for his efforts.
A native of Boerum, Norway, Alec is a computer science major.
