(Halifax, N.S.) - Dalhousie University presents our MUSCLE MLK Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sunday, January 21, 2018.
Julie Moore, Volleyball
First-year outside hitter Julie Moore is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Female Athlete of the Week.
Julie led the Tigers to a 3-0 win over the Saint Mary’s Huskies over the weekend.
She recorded 15 kills, two aces and two blocks for a match-high total of 18.0 points in Sunday’s match, earning Subway Player of the Game honours.
Julie is currently leading the conference in kills and kills per set.
A commerce student, Julie is from Halifax, N.S.

Tyler Immel-Herron, Swimming
Third-year swimmer Tyler Immel-Herron is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Male Athlete of the Week.
Tyler led the Tigers to a team win at the Dalhousie Invitational over the weekend.
The U SPORTS-qualifier won all four of his events. On Saturday, he came from behind on the last length to win the 200m freestyle event and led the pack from the start in his 1500m freestyle victory.
Sunday would be no different as he led both the 400m freestyle and 400m IM events from start to finish to claim top spot.
A native of Peterborough, Ont., Tyler is a biology student.
