First-year guard Jordan Aquino-Serjue is this week’s G2 Male Athlete of the Week.
Jordan had 37 points in three games at the CIS championship hosted by UBC over the weekend.
In Thursday’s quarter-final game against Ottawa, Jordan had eight points and four rebounds in the Tigers 87-83 win over the number three-seeded Gee-Gees. He added another 16 points and three rebounds in their 76-66 loss to Carleton in Saturday’s semifinal.
On Sunday, Jordan had 13 points, two rebounds and six assists in the bronze medal game against the number one-seeded Ryerson Rams. The Tigers lost 85-78.
The AUS rookie of the year, Jordan was named to the CIS all-rookie team at the championship awards banquet Wednesday night.
A native of Montreal, Q.C., Jordan is a kinesiology student.
