(Halifax, N.S.) Dalhousie University presents our G2 Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, January 17, 2016.
Michelle Reddy, Track & Field
Third-year runner Michelle Reddy is this week’s G2 Female Athlete of the Week.
Michelle is currently ranked first in the CIS in the 600m event.
She won the 600m event at the Athletics Nova Scotia indoor Open on Sunday, clocking a personal best of 1:32.85. She set a new Canada Games Centre fieldhouse record and is currently ranked first in the nation in that event.
Michelle is from Sarnia, O.N., and is a therapeutic recreation student.

Jordan Bruce, Track and Field
Fourth-year jumper Jordan Bruce is this week’s G2 Male Athlete of the Week.
Jordan is currently ranked first in the CIS in the triple jump.
He took first place in the triple jump at the Jump Start Athletics Open in Moncton on Saturday, with a leap of 15.00m. The jump breaks former Tigers jumper Simon Watts’ record and ranks him first in the country.
A native of Dartmouth, N.S., Jordan is an arts student.
