Colleen Wilson, Cross Country
Fourth-year runner Colleen Wilson is this week’s G2 Female Athlete of the Week.
Colleen ran to a 12th place finish at the CIS cross country championship at the University of Guelph this past weekend. A CIS second team all-Canadian, she clocked a time of 20:57.3, a full minute faster than her last race on the same course earlier in the season.
Her performance helped power the Tigers to a fifth-place team finish.
Colleen is from Ancaster, O.N., and is an oceanography student.

Matt McNeil, Cross Country
Fifth-year runner Matt McNeil is this week’s G2 Male Athlete of the Week.
Matt ended is CIS running career with a seventh place finish at the CIS cross country championship on Saturday. He crossed the line in 30:39.0, bettering his time on the same course earlier this year by nearly a minute and a half. Improving on his 12th place and CIS second team all-Canadian finish at last year’s championship, Matt was named a CIS first team all-Canadian for his efforts.
A native of Saint John, N.B., Matt is an engineering student.
