FEMALE – Emma Landry
SPORT - Soccer
Fourth-year midfielder Emma Landry led the Tigers last weekend, getting the first goal of the season in Friday night’s 3-1 victory over StFX. Her effort in the game earned her distinction as the Subway Player of the Game. A leader on the attack, she also had a strong performance on Sunday in a frustrating 0-0 tie with Saint Mary’s. Emma is enrolled in Dalhousie’s science program and hails from Ottawa, Ont.
MALE – Nathan Rogers
SPORT - Soccer
Co-captain Nathan Rogers set the pace for the Tigers last weekend, playing hard until the end in two close matches. Despite being a defender he pushed for the attack and kept his team in the game. His leadership earned him Subway Player of the Game honours in both games. Originally from Calgary, A.B., Nathan is a fourth-year member of the team and is enrolled in Dalhousie’s commerce program.
