Athletes of the week ‑ March 5

FEMALE – Keisha Brown
SPORT – Basketball

This week’s Dalhousie G2 Female Athlete of the Week is Keisha Brown. A third-year basketball guard, she led her team at the Subway AUS Championship this past weekend. In Friday’s quarter-final game versus the Saint Mary’s Huskies, she collected 31 points, seven rebounds and four steals to be named Subway Player of the Game. On Saturday night in the semifinal matchup with Cape Breton she notched 15 points and five rebounds. Ms. Brown is enrolled in Dalhousie’s arts program and was recently named a 2011-12 AUS second team all-star.

MALE – Robert Nortmann
SPORT – Basketball

Fifth-year basketball guard Robert Nortmann is this week’s Dalhousie G2 Male Athlete of the Week. A native of Nassau, Bahamas, he led his team in last week’s quarter-final AUS championship game versus Cape Breton. He collected 22 points and six rebounds to be named Subway Player of the Game. Mr. Nortmann was also a 2011-12 AUS second team all-star and is a history student at Dalhousie.
