Tigers hockey player Jocelyn Leblanc led the Tigers to a 6-to-3 home win over Saint Mary's on Saturday, earning two goals and Subway AUS Player of the Game honours for her efforts. On Sunday, Ms. Leblanc scored the second goal for the Tigers in a 4-2 losing effort as they faced the St. FX X-Women, and was named Dalhousie's Player of the Game for her performance. Ms. Leblanc, who hails from Moncton, is tops in Tigers scoring for the season, recording 16 points in nine games, good enough for second in the list of AUS scoring leaders.

David Sharpe, swimming

First-year swimmer David Sharpe put in an outstanding performance at the Canada Cup swimming event held in Etobicoke, Ont. The science student from Halifax set new AUS records in the 50, 100, and 200 metre backstroke events and the 100 and 200 metre butterfly events. He captured four bronze medals individually for his efforts and led the Tigers men's squad to a fourth place finish overall in a field of 75 university and club swim teams from across the country.
