IBuena Vista Social Club screens at the Dal Art Gallery on Thursday, Sept. 24, 5 p.m.

Film lovers are psyched! The Atlantic Film Festival opens Thursday with 225 movies ready to be unspooled. Films like Lars von Trier's Antichrist and Jane Campion's Bright Star are getting a lot of attention, along with the latest TPB movie, Trailer Park Boys: Countdown to Liquor Day.

(By the way, the Dalhousie Art Gallery is one of the venues for the film festival. It is screening the films of German director Wim Wenders. Films screen for free at 5 p.m. in the gallery, located downstairs in the Dalhousie Arts Centre.)

Are you going to the film festival? What movie(s) are you planning to see?
