This afternoon, the Dalhousie Tigers hit the court in Ottawa at the CIS men’s basketball finals. The team earned the sixth seed in the Final 8 after winning the AUS championship against St. FX last weekend.

"We're happy to congratulate the team on their AUS win last weekend. The Dalhousie community will be supporting them in Ottawa and at home," says President Tom Traves.

Dalhousie Athletics and Recreational Services and the Grawood have teamed up to show the webcast of Dalhousie’s quarter-final game against the UBC Thunderbirds at 3:30 p.m. on the Grawood big screen following the DSU Presidential Election Debate. If you can’t make it, you can watch the game online at the Streaming Sports Network: http://www.ssncanada.ca/finals/19/

Nick Pearce will be courtside at Carleton University, providing full coverage for Dalnews. (See his blog here.)
