During her four years at Dalhousie, Susan Conrod has earned the respect of faculty, staff and student colleagues as she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. The Sydney native has won numerous awards and prizes during her time at Dalhousie.
During her DDS program, Susan was declared the overall winner of the FacultyÕs Table Clinic program for her research into the effectiveness of routine sterilization procedures of dental burs and endodontic files. She was named winner of the 2006 Canadian Dental Association/Dentsply Student Clinician Program for students across all Faculties of Dentistry in Canada. She also presented her research to critical acclaim at the 2006 American Dental AssociationÕs Annual Session in Las Vegas and the Academy of Operative Dentistry mid-winter meeting in Chicago.
Following graduation, she will begin studies in the highly-competitive oral surgery degree program which will culminate in both MSc and MD degrees.
