Ever since Jillian Moore was young, she wanted to be a dentist. Her enthusiasm for her profession is clear when she talks about dentistry. "Having the ability to change someone's smile represents a nice balance between art and science," she says. An outdoor enthusiast, Jillian has a love of hiking, skiing and canoeing that will serve her well over the coming year as she travels to Northwestern Ontario. There, she will practise dentistry on remote First Nations reservations accessible only by air in the Sioux Lookout region. Originally from Parkdale, PEI, Jillian has studied piano and pottery and has volunteered extensively with the Red Cross.
