Open House: Bring your family, friends and neighbours along!

The sheer volume of the Open House program underscores the immense wealth of talent, imagination and dedication that is Dalhousie University.

"Before the first of our Open House guests steps on campus, I want to congratulate and thank everyone for the outstanding effort to put this event together," says President Tom Traves.

We're opening our doors to our friends and neighbours in our wider community for lots of very good reasons:

• Because we appreciate this community, and want to say so;
• Because we're proud of what we do, and want to show it off;
• Because it will be fun;
• Because potential students and their parents want an opportunity to have a good look; and,
• Because it is important from time to time to remind ourselves of all the really great things going on around here.

So bring the kids, the parents, the grandkids, the grandparents, the neighbour's grandkids and the neighbours. Check out the program. "I guarantee you there is more than enough to interest everyone. This is our party. We only need to do two things to make it a huge success. Have fun and make sure our guests have fun. See you there," says Traves.
