Open House Activities

by Charles Crosby

The Open House website is at openhouse.dal.ca

With just over two weeks to go excitement is building around Dalhousie’s Open House. This is a great opportunity to encourage your friends, neighbours and your family to come along and experience all Dalhousie has to offer. Bring someone along with you to work on October 22nd and let them share in the fun.

With more than 240 activities the campus will be hopping and you can make sure that you play a role. Be sure to welcome some of the hundreds of guests that will pass through the campus, give directions, make a student feel at home at Dal – enjoy the festive atmosphere of Open House 2004. Above all make sure to have fun and celebrate our university and all that it means to the community.

The Open House isn’t just for prospective students, it’s also a chance for members of the community to see the difference Dalhousie is making in Nova Scotia, to see the contribution we’re making to research opportunities, to experience for themselves the important role we play in the province, the city and in our neighbourhoods.

The first campus-wide open house in more than a decade promises excitement and novelty for potential students, parents, alumni, neighbors, donors and friends and we invite everyone to See Differently, at Dalhousie University's Open House on October 22 and 23.
