Connection to Other Programs
Expand your horizons
Whether you’re an undergraduate student working on your Bachelor of Management, or you’re a graduate student working on a PhD, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to include the School for Resource and Environmental Studies (SRES) in your education. We maintain connections with a variety of other groups within the university by:
- teaching undergraduates in the Bachelor of Management program and through the College of Sustainability.
- supervising undergraduate students while they work on their honours thesis.
- serving on supervisory committees through the Interdisciplinary PhD program.
- working with master’s students from a broad range of other departments.
A wealth of opportunity
By connecting with SRES, you’re opening doors to a future with more opportunities. Want to learn more about our natural resources and the environment, but not interested in a master’s? If you’re enrolled in a Faculty of Management program, you’ll still be able to learn from our passionate, world-renowned professors in undergraduate-level courses.
And since it can be difficult to address these complex issues around natural resource and environmental sustainability, combining SRES with other disciplines, through programs like the Interdisciplinary PhD, allows us to better understand how to create a more sustainable world.
