This year’s recipient of the annual Clean Nova Scotia scholarship is Amy Buckland-Nicks. Amy is a Master of Environmental Studies student at Dalhousie’s School for Resource and Environmental Studies, working under the supervision of Dr. Heather Castleden (SRES) and Dr. Cathy Conrad (Geography, Saint Mary’s). Amy is working on a project focused on increasing community capacity for integrated water monitoring and management in Nova Scotia, part of CURA H2O, funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.
Clean Nova Scotia seeks to create a cleaner, healthier environment by informing, enabling and inspiring Nova Scotians to respect and consider the environment in all their choices.
