Research Interests
My primary area of interest and expertise is applied statistical analysis (i.e., the application and teaching of statistical methods used in research). To date, my research program has mostly focused on personality as a predictor of well-being and symptoms of psychopathology. Specifically, I focus on two key areas: (a) Perfectionism as a predictor ofmood problems and well-being; and (b) personality traits and motivations as risk and protective factors for alcohol misuse. My most recent grant focused on the relationship between perfectionism, stress, and anxiety within statistics classrooms.
