Outreach

With the Faculty of Science, the Physics and Atmospheric Science Department participates in a number of outreach programs in the community. Mainly aimed at students in grades 6 through 12, these programs are a fun way for young learners to explore physics and atmospherice science through hands-on activities. Students - and their teachers - from all across the province are welcome!

Interested in bringing your students to visit the Department of Physics and Atmospheric Science? Would you like someone to come in and speak with your students on a particular topic related to physics, atmospheric science or even math? Are you interested in having the Faculty of Science involved with a science/math event at your school - perhaps have some judges for your next science fair?

Or are you simply looking for expertise in a specific discipline of science or math?

All programs in Dalhousie's Faculty of Science offer a wealth of information and resources available to help you meet your curriculum outcomes. These resources are FREE to you.

Many outreach programs have funding available to travel to your school to do hands-on science and math activities with your students.
