Nursing
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree program prepares students to become Registered Nurses (RNs) locally, nationally and abroad.
Dalhousie’s School of Nursing baccalaureate degree offers students the opportunity to complete this degree in three calendar years as Direct Entry student or two calendar years as an Advanced Standing student. Contact the Registrar's Office for more details.
Students can earn their degree at our Halifax and Yarmouth, Nova Scotia locations.
Residents of Nunavut can enroll in our BScN (Arctic Nursing) program, offered in collaboration with Nunavut Arctic College.

Physiotherapy
The MSc (Physiotherapy) degree provides education and preparation for clinical practice as a physiotherapist; completion of the program prepares students for the licensing exams necessary to practice physiotherapy.
The MSc Physiotherapy, entry to practice degree, is an intensive program completed over 24 months. To apply, applicants must have completed a four-year undergraduate degree with a minimum grade point average of 3.3.

Occupational Therapy
MSc(OT) – Entry Level Program
Occupational therapy focuses on helping people overcome challenges they face due to an injury, illness or environmental barrier. Occupational therapists are trained to help people improve their quality of life by assisting them in regaining or developing skills and abilities so that they can continue to participate in their everyday activities.
The MSc(OT) - Entry Level program is designed for individuals who will have completed a four-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized academic institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (B average) in the last 60 credit hours of study.

Health Sciences
The Faculty of Health at Dalhousie offers a Bachelor of Health Sciences in: Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Radiological Technology, and Respiratory Therapy, as well as a post-diploma BHSc in Medical Laboratory Technology.
