Biography
Laurenne Schiller currently works as a research analyst for the national sustainable seafood program, Ocean Wise, based out of the Vancouver Aquarium. With a background in marine physiology and ecology, Laurenne completed her MSc. at the University of British Columbia in 2014 under the supervision of Daniel Pauly. To date, the majority of Laurenne’s work has focused on understanding tuna fishing dynamics in the Pacific Ocean, with a current focus on the interaction between public and private governance and the management of tuna fisheries at a global scale.
