The CZC 2014 Issue of MAP Matters is now available.
The Marine Affairs Program was well represented at the Coastal Zone Canada 2014 “Our Coasts: Legacies and Futures” conference held in Halifax, NS on June 15-19, 2014. Students, faculty, alumni, visiting researchers and friends (from the Arctic to the Caribbean) took part in volunteering, attending, presenting and interacting with the 400 delegates. During CZC 2014, the Bay of Fundy Ecosystem Partnership (BoFEP) held the 10th Fundy Science Workshop with the theme of “Sustaining the Bay of Fundy: Linking Science, Communication, Policy and Community Action”.
A wide range of constituents attended CZC 2014 to learn about and discuss the complex realm of coastal zone management. It was an opportunity for members of the MAP family to engage with coastal zone researchers, students and decision makers.
