Dal Science profs recognized by the Royal Society of Canada

Two Faculty of Science professors have been recognized with membership in the Royal Society of Canada's (RSC) 2024 cohort. Dr. Mark Stradiotto of the Department of Chemistry was named a Fellow earlier this week, while Dr. Kate Sherren of the School for Resource and Environmental Studies was named a College Member. Dal Community Day: Sunday, Sept. 8

Dalhousie students are coming together to make a difference on Dal Community Day, Sunday, September 8. Activities will include putting together hygiene kits for local shelters and crafting cards for seniors in the community.

McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill information session: Tuesday, Sept. 10

Students interested in learning about applying for McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill University are invited to attend an information session on Tuesday, September 10. The McCall MacBain Scholarships cover tuition and fees for students pursuing a full-time master's or second-entry professional undergraduate program at McGill University in summer/fall 2025.

The Great Debate & Public Talk: The United Nations and its Future - Wednesday, Sept. 11

Next week, come out to see top Nova Scotia student debaters square off on the future of the United Nations and a featured address in response from the Honourable Bob Rae, Canada’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN in New York City.
