Dal, Eastlink celebrate 10 years of Math Circles
Thanks to the generous support of Eastlink, the Math Circles program from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics has helped shape the next generation of problem solvers, with over 6,000 Nova Scotian students participating in the program in 2023. Since its launch in 2014, Eastlink has provided $1 million to support Math Circles.
This spring, 50 students from local schools and representatives from Eastlink and Dal attended a 10-year celebration, with guest speakers, interactive math stations, and a pizza lunch. Read our Dal News story for more on the impact of Math Circles and to watch an Eastlink Community TV segment filmed on location during the event.
