Falling Walls Lab Atlantic Canada pitch competition - September 7

Presented by the Office of the Vice-President Research and Innovation, Falling Walls is a pitch competition that focuses on presenting potentially game-changing research-based innovations. Participants have just three minutes to present and the winner gets an expenses-paid trip to Berlin to compete at the Falling Walls Science Summit. Last year, chemistry PhD students Sarah Martell and Tina Taskovic advanced to the global finals in Berlin.

Please come and support the 12 competitors who will pitch their ideas on topics ranging from reducing plastic waste, reducing concussion complications, improving battery supply, tackling waterborne disease, addressing food inequality and more. The event takes place on Thursday, Sept. 7 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Halifax Central Library. Register to attend this free event here.
