Bursaries Available for Service Learning Program - BACKPACKING WITH A PURPOSE

Operation Groundswell is a non-profit organization that runs backpacking trips with a purpose. We are looking for globally active and socially conscious students to join us for an off-the-beaten path adventure into the developing world. If you're into cultural exchange, fulfilling community service, and off-the-beaten path adventure, apply by December 18th to secure an interview for your first-choice program!

The Faculty of Science Award for Excellence in Teaching

Nominate a professor in the Faculty of Science! Nominees will have a comprehensive knowledge of their subject and possess the ability to communicate their knowledge to students in such a way as to lead students to high academic achievement.

The Marine Affairs Program invites you to attend the 8th annual Making Waves: Graduate Project Presentations of the 2014 Master of Marine Management class. Students will present results of their Graduate Projects and internships that span the Atlantic from Nunavut to St Kitts and Nevis.

NOVEMBER 27 - Science Dean's Office Charity Luncheon

Join us for our 4th annual Science Dean's Office Charity Luncheon! All Dalhousie faculty, staff, and students are invited to join us in the Milligan room for this fundraiser. Soups, chilli, drinks, and dessert are on the menu for this luncheon. We are adopting a family with Feed Nova Scotia. Proceeds will go to this family for the holidays.
