Dr. David Wilson is a fellowship trained musculoskeletal oncologist. He completed his medical school and residency training in orthopaedic surgery at Dalhousie University. He then underwent fellowship training at the University of Toronto, Mount Sinai, in musculoskeletal oncology. He spent 3 years in practice in Hamilton, Ontario, at McMaster University with a focus on adult and pediatric musculoskeletal oncology.
In 2021 he rejoined the Dalhousie University division of orthopaedics. His role within the division is as a musculoskeletal oncologist with a specific focus on bone and soft tissue sarcoma. His research focuses are orthopedic biomechanics, medical education and oncology outcomes. He is actively involved in education, research, and administrative work at both the University and hospital level.
