If you’re looking to upskill in your current role at the university, you can now apply to access the full suite of courses offered at the Faculty of Open Learning & Career Development.
The university’s tuition waiver program recently expanded to allow university employees to apply to take any course at the Faculty as long as it’s related to their current role. Previously, the program only included specific non-credit courses, but now, all courses, including such courses as Leadership Dynamics, Mastering Strategy, and Data Governance, are accessible through the program.
The tuition waiver program is available for CCS, DFA, DPMG, NSGEU members. Eligibility criteria may vary between employee groups or according to the employment contract so it’s important to consult your employee handbook or collective agreement before applying to the program.
More information on the tuition waiver program, along with the application form, can be found online here (login required).
Questions about the waiver program can be directed to Employee Benefits at benefits@dal.ca or 902-494-1122.
