We’re excited to share the following announcement from the Nova Scotia Provincial Library:
As we close out Canadian Library Month and our theme of Healthy Living, we are pleased to announce that the Nova Scotia Health Authority (formerly Capital Health) Patient Education Pamphlets are now available in all library catalogues in Nova Scotia. These are sources of reliable and locally produced medical information written by NSHA professionals, that are easy to read, and which bring familiarity to unknown medical procedures.
Our MLIS alumni, Lara Killian and David MacNeil spearheaded this valuable project. Take a look yourself by searching your local library catalogue for “patient education pamphlets”.
