Kayler Mutyabule learned to be adaptable from a young age. During her time in the Commerce Co-op program, she used her experience to help make the new Supply Chain and Logistics Management major a place where everyone could feel seen.

Patrick Law was a chemical engineer in Calgary who wanted to advance his career and make more time for his three children. He enrolled in the MBA Financial Services blended/online program and moved to PEI to concentrate on family, entrepreneurship and investments.

Francesca Hawkes brought a passion for sustainability to the Corporate Residency MBA program, where she developed the business acumen to inspire and implement change in corporations.

Rebecca Osamudiame came to the Master of Science in Business program because she wanted a new challenge. Her professors helped her hone her research skills, and push further to find a thesis topic she was passionate about.

The Dalhousie Faculty of Management has awarded its annual Scotiabank Ethical Leadership Award to humanitarian Ruma Bose. This award honours a Canadian who has demonstrated exceptional character, moral courage and commitment to ethical principles.

"The MBA has expanded my mindset, introduced me to new concepts and helped strengthen my engagement at all levels,” says recent Financial Services grad Joe Collura.

Restauranteurs and community volunteers Doug Townsend (BCOMM’04) and Renée Lavallée had barely closed their doors due to COVID-19 when they saw an opportunity to help. With support from partner organizations and customer donations, they transitioned into a community kitchen to feed those in need.

“My favourite part about this MBA was the cohort and being with a group of people who were very committed both academically and socially,” says Will Russell.
