Dalhousie Commerce Society represents the interests of all commerce co-op students, the society acts as a link between these students and Dal’s administration. All commerce students automatically become members upon enrolment.

Dalhousie Sports Business Society is a non-profit DCS umbrella society that combines students’ passion for athletic events and corporate affairs. Despite primarily operating out of Dalhousie’s business school, DSBS provides students across all degree fields and levels of study with equal opportunities to get involved.
Dalhousie Accounting Society focuses on creating a sense of community within the Accounting major. Canadian Library Association is the nation's advocacy group for libraries, the people who work in them and the individuals they serve. CLA–Dalhousie serves the students of the School of Information Management by facilitating professional mentoring and fundraising supports.
Special Libraries Association Student Group is an international organization for innovative information professionals. The Dalhousie group seeks to provide networking and professional development opportunities for students interested in the special library field.
Public Administration Student Society acts as a forum for student concerns and organizes social and athletic events.
Dalhousie Student Union membership includes all students registered with full or part-time status, each of whom pays a fee which goes toward various student services. The DSU also provides social outlets for its members. It has over 180 student societies which cover religious, political, social and special interests.
Dalhousie Association of Graduate Students has been representing grad students for over 25 years, acting as their advocate at the local, provincial and national level.
