Drs. Barker and Macdonald in the International Hall of Flags at Eastern Michigan University
Two faculty members from the Rowe School of Business, Dr. Linda Macdonald and Dr. Jim Barker, travelled last week to Eastern Michigan University’s College of Business in Ypsilanti, where they were speaking at the annual Global Advances in Business and Communication Conference.
Presenting to an audience of scholars from almost every continent, Macdonald spoke about work that she has done with Binod Sundararajan, a colleague from the Rowe School of Business. Their work focuses on the classroom expectations of international and domestic students, and was funded by the internationalization initiative of the Rowe School’s Rowe Gift.
Barker spoke on his research and experience with interactive classroom methods used in the Rowe School’s MBA (Corporate Residency) and MBA (Financial Services) classes.
