The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) will support the efforts of Dalhousie and St Francis Xavier’s Coady Institute in reducing international poverty. Through two separate food-security projects, they will deliver concrete results for people living in Cuba, Ethiopia, Ghana and Zambia. The total CIDA contribution to Dalhousie and the Coady Institute is $9,911,933 over five years. Each university will contribute at least 25 percent of the cost of projects.
