2009 Ganong Family

The Ganongs shared the rich and remarkable history of their fifth generation family business, Ganong Brothers Ltd. They revealed how Canada's oldest candy company manages family business governance while remaining committed to producing high quality products and giving back to the community.

Since 1873 the Ganong family and friends have put their heart and soul into the chocolate confectioners' art. The special skills needed to make quality confectionary have been passed down, through the generations, in the small town of St. Stephen, New Brunswick.
