Meet Adam Guzkowski (they/them), Program Manager
Adam is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Office of the Associate Dean Academic, which includes supporting Schulich Law students through academic advising, academic success programming, academic policy interpretation, and academic considerations such as academic dispensation, exam deferrals, and leaves of absence.
Adam served as an Academic Advisor at Trent University before joining Schulich Law in December 2023. They previously taught at Trent University, Western University, Seneca College, and Fleming College and have completed degrees and certifications in Career Development and Academic Advising, Adult Education, Coaching, Outdoor Recreation, and Cultural Studies.
Meet Emma Warren (she/her), Student Engagement Coordinator
Emma’s role supports Schulich Law students by facilitating access to and raising awareness of the resources, facilities, services, and events designed to help enhance their law school experience. She oversees class registration, 1L orientation, Faculty Advisor assignments and Peer Mentorship, discretionary awards and prizes, and forms for academic dispensation and exam deferral.
She is a familiar face to many at the law school, as she previously served as the faculty’s Receptionist and Career Development Assistant before moving into this position in November 2023. Before joining Schulich Law, Emma worked in Student Services at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and North Island College.
