Law Hour: Law in Action – The Power of Policy in Shaping Justice
Law Hour is pleased to partner with the Dalhousie Black Law Students' Association (DBLSA) to bring Angela Simmonds and DeRico Symonds from the African Nova Scotian Justice Institute to Schulich Law for a talk titled "Law in Action: The Power of Policy in Shaping Justice”.
They will explore how law and policy intersect in shaping legal outcomes and community experience, sharing firsthand insights from their work to illustrate how policy is a vital tool that can be used in driving change and addressing systemic challenges in the legal system.
