Health Law Primers (HeLP)
Giving medical professionals key info about the law
'HeLP' is short for 'Health Law Primers', a set of short online videos designed to introduce important legal topics to medical students, residents, and practitioners. Each topic is broken down into one or more videos, each roughly 15-minutes in length, delivered by a legal scholar. The goal of each HeLP video is to provide learners and practitioners of medicine with key information they need about the law.
Through the generous support of Dalhousie’s Health Law Institute, the HeLP videos are freely available online. They are not intended to provide legal advice, but rather to inform, educate, and even stimulate debate within members of the medical community about law and its relationship with medical practice.
