1st Year Foundational IPE Event

The 1st Year Foundational IPE Event is a highlight on the interprofessional calendar. For many incoming students, this event is their introduction to the concept of interprofessional education, and they leave a lasting impact.

Part 1: Students will complete five asynchronous modules which will open in early September. All modules and mini quizzes must be completed by September 23, 2024 in order to proceed to Part 2.

Part 2: Students will be assigned to interprofessional teams to participate in the in-person on one of the following dates (October 1, 3, 8 or 10, 2024) during the protected IPE time from 4:00 - 5:30 pm.

To receive credit for the First Year Foundational IPE Event (FIPEE), students must successfully complete both Part I and Part 2.

Students will receive all of the information on the event via their Dalhousie emails. Please contact your discipline's IPE Coordinator if you have not received information.
