Our Services

A typical hearing assessment at the Dalhousie Audiology Clinic might include:

• Extensive case history interview
• Otoscopic inspection
• Middle ear assessment
• Word recognition and speech reception threshold testing
• Frequency specific hearing threshold assessment
• Otoacoustic emissions assessment
• Counselling

The audiologist and audiology students will review the results and make recommendations based on the diagnostic findings and the needs/wishes of the patient.

The Dalhousie Audiology Clinic does not dispense hearing aids but the audiologist and audiology students will provide guidance about the process of getting hearing aids. 

The Dalhousie Audiology Clinic runs on Tuesdays from September to April. Please contact the clinic as appointments are limited and book quickly.
