Professional accent training

Accent training will grow confidence, improve understanding, strengthen trust, help client relationship management, build collegial relationships, decrease stress, amplify influence, and increase leadership presence.

With personalized, one-on-one training and flexible meeting times, we will help you to identify and modify specific issues in your speech that can create barriers to understanding. We tailor training to your professional needs by creating industry-specific goals. This includes working on pronunciation of technical terminology, proper names, and even everyday words that you must be able to communicate clearly.

Our location

The Dalhousie Accent Clinic is located on the Carleton Campus of Dalhousie University campus, in the Sir Charles Tupper Medical Building (5850 College Street)—a short walk from downtown—with parking spots on adjacent streets. You can also participate remotely through encrypted video conferencing.
