Student News Spring 2022

Students in the MScOT program have been keeping busy in lectures and labs, on fieldwork placements and enjoying each other's company in the great outdoors. (Thanks to Katie Siri-Ngammuang for coordinating/providing photos).

Congratulations to Sarah Dawe on being awarded her 3rd Academic All-Canadian award since beginning her volleyball career! The Academic All-Canadian distinction is one of the highest recognitions a university varsity athlete may receive. To earn this distinction, a varsity student-athlete must be enrolled in a full-time class-load and achieve an average of 80% or higher in the academic year.

Sarah is a recent graduate from the School's MScOT program and is presently enrolled in the School's Certificate in Disability Management Program. A program she feels will provide her with a "great professional advantage". Sarah also enjoyed working as a MScOT Teaching Assistant this past term - helping students understand class content, lab skills and time management.

The School applaudes Sarah on her achievements on and off the court. Well done!

The athletes who earn this prestigious national honour are an inspiration, and the School congratulates Sarah on her achievement. Tiger's Volleyball is lucky to have her skills on the court and her expertise as she coaches youth in her spare time.
