Dr. Mohammad Hajizadeh from the School of Health Administration recently published "Does socioeconomic status affect lengthy wait time in Canada? Evidence from Canadian Community Health Surveys" in The European Journal of Health Economics.
Dr. Hajizadeh's finding that wait times are longer for low-income Canadians - especially in the Atlantic Provinces - became the focus of media attention:
