On January 21st, Dalhousie held it's second annual Health Care Team Challenge with six interprofessional student teams vying for a place at the Nationals based on their ability to work collaboratively across disciplines to develop a patient care plan.

After a hiatus of a few years, the Dalhousie Health Sciences Students' Association (DalHSSA) was recently reinstated, and is already making an impact across campus.

Simulation Saturday is a chance for students from the Faculties of Health Professions, Medicine and Dentistry to experience interprofessional simulations in the Collaborative Health Education Building.

Dr. Fred Wien, Dalhousie Professor Emeritus and former Director of the School of Social Work, was recently appointed a Member of the Order of Canada for his work on behalf of First Nations communities in Atlantic Canada.
